Geo Honey Wings

Not long ago I made a purchase from http://www.honeycolor.com/ That purchase also included GEO Honey Wing lenses. Didn't wear them out but did snap a few pics of them.

I love the overall effect. They do actually look better in person than on camera. The result is big, wide, vibrant honey eyes that are cool at the same time. Instead of the aggressivly orange eyes most honey lenses tend to be, these are fluid almost. Soft and ash/beige toned while vibrant and defining at the same time. I have owned these before but I believe I had a defect pair because they irritated my eyes the moment I put them in and didn't center. These lenses fit fine. I paid $19.90 USD for these. Can't give an exact on shipping as I ordered more than one pair of lenses. I do love these and would recommend them to anyone interested in big, noticable, vibrant, fluid brown eyes.

Acuvue Define Vivid

Here comes the drawback of having so many contact lenses.. I stumbled upon these lenses while getting ready to go out to the movies today. (The Hangover Part II was awesome btw) A practically full box of Acuvue Define in the Accent style.

Promotional Photos:
(I clearly don't own the rights to these 3 promotional images as they are from advert's. I will also own up to the fact that I have NO IDEA what the first ones says or describes)

Right Eye with no lens, Left eye with lens. (These were hard to take as I saw fine out the left, and saw nothing out the right eye. Thanks corrective vision!)

Finally the effect with lenses on both eyes.

Lastly a side shot for fun.

Most of these pics were taken simply using the light in the room with no flash. It went off on a few but for the most part it's simply how the lenses appear. Overall I think they create a unique effect. The lens itself fits my eyes well. They do take a moment to center due to their base curve but once they do they look great. The black limbal pattern starts right where my iris ends. It results in a black ring defining my natural eye color. Up close in can look a little wierd. At normal talking distance it simply enlarges my eyes and defines them. I do like the results I achieved but I feel that this Accent style is more suited towards Med-Dark brown eyes. I have a feeling it would create a wide eyed, youthful effect on them. I think the Vivid style would havve suited my eyes more simply due to it's color. Overall I do like them all the same. They're super comfortable and the visual clarity is great! I've had them in for a few hours now and still can't feel them on my eyes. I would have to say their only downfall for me is the fact that they are daily disposable. They are hard enough to get if you don't live in Asia. Top that to the fact that you only get 30 lenses in a box, it works out to a little over 2 weeks worth of daily wear. I have a feeling that I could have probably found an annual circle lens that gives a similar result for the same cost, if not less than what I've seen these for. There may be some sites that sell these more reasonable so I will update on that if I do come across them. Hope everyone has a great week and if you're in the US have a safe and wonderful holiday!

Adore Bi Tone

Not long ago I received 2 new pairs of lenses, one of which I will be reviewing today. I broke down and got the Adore Bi Tone lenses in Yellow and Aqua pictured in their color chart below:

This review specifically is for my Yellows. In general I always hope for the best results with semi opaque lenses in this particular shade. Unfortunatly brands like Solotica have let me down in that department. Fortunatly after getting these on a whim Adore has renewed my faith in this shade. So here go the pics!

Overall they are extremly comfortable. I can wear them for 10-12 hours with no discomfort or redness and seldomly have to rewet them. They last for 3 months with consecutive use (or daily wear). Most of all they're super realistic. In person they look ridiculously natural. Even in photos they look more natural than most lenses. Personally I prefer blue lenses period for my daily wear. These lenses look so gorgeous and natural that I find myself reaching for these 2-3 times a week. They can be subtle in most settings and really vibrant in others. Due to their semi opaque pattern they react to light tonewise just as natural eyes do. They also seem to blend seamlessly.

They currently run $39.44 USD plus shipping at http://www.lensmarketplace.com/ I can't remember my overall total as I ordered a few pairs of lenses from them. They did take about 2.5/3 weeks to arrive. I was aware they would take a little longer as my lenses are prescription and one of the other pairs of lenses I ordered was out of stock.

If asked I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants a natural, realistic lens. I do also stress they keep in mind that like all semi opaque lenses do create a natural result. That being said the result and tone achieved is completly dependant on your natural eye color and your features. Reguardless I would still highly recommend these!

If you would like to see a review on the Grey's just let me know!
