Super busy

I have been SUPER busy lately! Working 10 days straight and having 2 jobs can sometimes do that! I have LOTS of updating to do so stay tuned! And while I planned on doing a Halloween contest as busy as I am that won't be happening. However, I have been humming "Christmas Time Is here" for a week now and I have a great idea for a contest that will DEF be happening soon! (I know, you're thinking "Yeah, Okay") Trust me it will be here! Stay tuned!

Just an update

HEllo bloggers and followers/future followers. Just thought I'd do a random update. I will be hosting my first blog contest next month! So keep an eye out! I will also be reviewing some lenses that I probably don't give their due. Stay tuned for those as well. I also plan on adding some videos of certain lenses onto my blog, which I look forward to despite not having the best camera for video. They do come out pretty decent if I do say so myself! If anyone has a particular lens they are interested in seeing reviewed feel free to ask! I have quite a few lenses and wouldn't have a problem with reviewing them to the best of my abilities! Any suggestions for future blogs, lens related or not feel free to contact me!

Once I hit 50 subscribers I will officially host my first contest! More details will be posted as I get closer to that happening. So if you read my blog and are interested subscribe! Hopefully I can make this happen sooner rather than later!

CONTEST????

I have been debating this for sometime now. I have been wanting to do a contest of sorts. It won't be anything I have no knowledge of as it would be unfamiliar territory. I have wanted to do a LENS contest for awhile now! That's right, a lens contest! At the end of the day though would anyone be interested in one? If I do have one it would def. be aimed towards individuals who aren't afraid of trying something new with their eyes and having a bit of fun with it? I am feeling very tempted to do so! Any thoughts on this?

Circle Lens Haul

Sorry about the lack of update. This has been a busy month for me! It's my last day off until Sunday so I am updating now! I received my package from www.PrettyandCute.com already. The seller from the site whom I did my transaction with was S2Janie. She shipped my lenses out promptly and notified me when she shipped them. They were packeged very nicely and came with a little bonus case!

The lenses I purchased were the EOS Adult lenses in Brown and Green as I mentioned in my previous blog. The lenses cost $25.00 USD per pair and shipping runs $4.50 for the first pair of lenses and $1.50 for each pair after. She accepts PayPal, Money Orders and concealed cash in USD. She has various lens collections from various lens companies (GEO, G&G, Dueba, Seeshell, EOS, NEO, etc.) and sells items besides circle lenses.

And yes. That is a Hello Kitty lens case set you see included. And it was FREE!! Gotta love freebies in this recession we have!

I love both of them! Their color names def. lead me to believe EOS has some imaginative interpretations of what a color actually is. I am thankful for that. The browns blend very nicely in person and look wonderful with my natural eye color. They cool down the intense orange and yellow tones of my eyes. The green were a wonderful surprise. I hate green eyes personally but will still try green lenses. As the old saying goes "Don't knock it till you try it". Well I tried thema dn I LOVE them! They are more of an aqua/seafoam shade of blue rather than green! I am still tempted to try the Adult Grey after seeing Jens pics on her blog (www.frmheadtotoe.com). They are super comfortable and vibrant and gorgeous in natural sunlight. Had it not been raining as much where I live I would have posted natual light pics.

I also decided to take some pics of my GEO Nudy Blues while I took pics of these. I baught them from a seller sometime back for a reasonable price but they had plano so I don't really wear them as I need rx lenses.

I do love the teary eyed effect they have in person. I wish my camera could capture that. Instead my macro setting captured the speckly pattern. I do like them but personally I find Calaview Sky Blue to be more vibrant and noticable. They are very nice and comfortable though. They are available on the same site I purchased my Adult lenses from for $20.00 USD per pair.

I have purchased circle lenses from a few sellers over the past 2 years. I either got sent the wrong lenses in the right rx, the right lenses in plano, or got charged 1 price to have them drop it in half after I placed my order. Waited a month for my lenses, and had issues gettign a response when I had a customer service problem. Ordering from here was a breeze. It was quick and simple, I got my lenses quick and secure! They were actually bubble wrapped, not wrapped in a magazine like all the other sellers I previously purchased lenses from had. (And the picture doesn't really show it but they were also shipped with the box full of those packing peanuts!). I also got my lenses super quick as the site ships out of the U.S. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in them. Any questions or requests? Just ask! I have a few other circle lenses and various other cosmetic lenses I plan on reviewing in the future and wouldn't mind looking into special lens requests!

Birthday! YAY!

I recently celebrated my birthday over the weekend. I went out with some friends and had a great time! Not before getting some new tattoos first ;)

I have had 3 stars on my inner right arm for some time now. I had 2 more added and had one of them reinked. Eventually I would like the whole bottom half of my right arm from the elbow down to be covered with stars in the form of a sleeve as well as a shooting star on my right hand. Here's what they look like (Excuse the cell phone quality pics. Didn't bring my digital camera with me).

That's how the whole arm looks as of now.

The large star was re inked and the blue and green star were added.

I also ordered some new circle lenses within the last week and I can't wait until they finally arrive and ship. Thanks to some help from blogger Jen www.frmheadtotoe.com Sorry Jen I'm not good at linking! I decided to order a few pairs of lenses I was on the fence about and am highly anticipating them after seeing her pics and review.

These are the promo pics for the lenses I ordered:

Thanks to Jen I was able to find a seller who had them with a resonable price and shipping. I ordered them from the lovely Ms. S2JAnie from www.prettyandcute.com . She was very easy to communicate with and readily answered any questions I had for her. She even helped me when I had an issue with the ordering form. (No fault of hers, sometimes my brain lapses and I have "Jessica Simpson" moments).

I ordered 2 colors I normally wouldn't wear. Even thought the Brown lens is labeled "Brown" it appears more of an amber/honey shade which is very close to my natural eye color. The green appears more of an aqua green but I don't really care for green eyes and I tend to shy away from lenses that are similar to my natural eye color. I do look forward to receiving both and posting plenty of pictures and a detailed review when I get them!

FreshLook Colors Collection

I am changing the focus of my blog. That's right.. To contact lenses! I will be starting with my review of the FreshLook Colors range! FreshLook is probably if not the most readily available contact lens on the market. I have been wearing these for yeearrss. This si the first brand I've ever worn and I have a soft spot for them. They're not my everyday lenses but they are a brand I always keep in my collection.

FreshLook Colors come in 6 shades as a whole. They are Misty Grey, Hazel, Green, Violet, Blue and Sapphire Blue. They're disposable versions of the Durasoft 3 Colors line. In the US they are sold in 4 color options Hazel, Green, Violet, and Blue. I have had a chance to try all 6 shades! I have to take new pics of Violet and Blue so I will share Misty Grey, Hazel, Green, and Sapphire Blue.

My natural eye color (strictly for reference)

My favorite shades from this line are Misty Grey, Blue (not pictured) and Sapphire Blue. I like Hazel when I want to subtly add something to my natural eye color (which is rare) and Violet when I want an eye color that's fun! Green is a color I keep in my collection just because I usually buy them when they go on sale but not a color I personally care for. Misty Grey and Sapphire Blue I was fortuante enough to receive as gifts as they're not available in the US. It's a shame as well becasue Misty Grey is probably the most natural monotone grey I've ever worn.
